All of the houses have an open plan consisting of the kitchen, the living room, the braai, and a sliding door onto the stoep. The long-term houses are all unfurnished, but this can be negotiated.
Vaderslandswilg
Vaderslandswilg is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house which is available to rent. The Vaderslandswilg is called River Bush-willow, and these trees are found along the Orange River throughout the area.
Ebbehout
Ebbehout is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house which is currently rented. Ebbehout is Ebony in English, and they are quite common in this area. There’s even a hiking trail in the Augrabies Falls National Park called the Ebony Trail that highlights these beautiful trees.
Abikwa is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom house which is currently rented. Abikwa has many names in both English and Afrikaans, but the most common English name is the Wild Tamarisk.
